Ganghwa Pungmul Market

A two-floor covered market in Ganghwa-eup. The first floor has 122 stalls plus a raw-fish centre. The second floor has 49 stalls and restaurants. What Ganghwa is known for here is sunmu turnip kimchi, local ginseng and hwamunseok woven rush mats. Hours are 08:00-21:00, closed the first and third Monday of each month. On dates ending in 2 or 7, the traditional five-day market fills the streets around it. It is within walking distance of Ganghwa Terminal, where buses from Seoul and Incheon arrive.
