Chinatown, the old port and Songdo Central Park within 7 km of campus, and every place to eat nearby.

The old foreign settlement quarter, right next to Chinatown. Three museums here use the original buildings. The Incheon Open Port Museum is in the former Japan First Bank branch from 1899, a Renaissance stone building with a central dome. The Modern Architecture Exhibition Hall is in the former Japan 18th Bank branch. It was finished in October 1890 and is the oldest bank building in Incheon. The Daebul Hotel Exhibition Hall stands on the site of Korea's first Western-style hotel, built in 1888. That one was rebuilt as a museum in April 2018. All three open Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-18:00, last entry 17:30. Closed Mondays. The combined pass costs less than three separate tickets.

Korea's first Western-style park, opened in 1888, five years after the port. It was first called Gakguk Park, which means All Nations Park, because the foreign settlements ringed it. Later it was Seo Park, then Manguk Park. It covers Eungbongsan hill above Chinatown, with a wooded walking area and a view over Incheon Port. At the summit is the MacArthur statue, completed on 15 September 1957. That statue is where the park's present name comes from. There is also a 1982 monument to the centenary of the 1882 Korea-US treaty. Admission is free. The address is 25 Jayugongwonnam-ro.
Korea's only official Chinatown. Shandong merchants settled here after Jemulpo port opened in 1883, and the Qing settlement was granted in 1884. The paifang gate stands directly across from Incheon Station Exit 1. That is the last stop on Seoul Subway Line 1. The Suin-Bundang Line stops there too, so you need no transfer or bus. Walking the streets costs nothing. The Samgukji mural lane runs about 150 m along the Jungsan School wall. The district merged into the new Jemulpo-gu on 1 July 2026, so older maps and addresses still say Jung-gu.

A 6.1 km monorail that circles Wolmido, running 7 to 18 m above the ground. It calls at four stations, and one full lap takes about 42 minutes. From the car you see Incheon Inner Port and the West Sea. In clear weather you can also see Incheon Bridge. In peak season, April to October, it runs 10:00-18:00 Tuesday to Thursday. Weekends and holidays in that season are 10:00-19:00. From November to March it is 10:00-18:00. It closes every Monday. One ticket lets you board once more the same day. So you can get off at Wolmi Park Station and pick the train up again.

Korea's first park built around a seawater canal. It is 370,750 m2 of lawn and gardens cut through the Songdo high-rises. Open around the clock and free to enter. A water taxi leaves from the West Boat House and loops the canal. The East Boat House rents canoes and kayaks. Take Exit 3 of Central Park Station on Incheon Line 1. From there you walk between the Incheon Urban History Museum and the tourist information center. Boat hours shift with the season and the weather, so check on the day.
