Manisan Mountain and Chamseongdan Altar

Ganghwa's highest peak, 472.1 m. Chamseongdan, a stone altar, sits on the ridge below the summit. The county puts the round trip at about 3 hours. The stair route is steep, so bring real shoes and water. Gates open 09:00-17:00 from November to February, and 09:00-18:00 in March to May and September to October. From June to August it is 08:30-18:30. The mountain is on the southwest side of the island, another county bus ride beyond Ganghwa Terminal.
