Ganghwa Dolmen Site (Bugeun-ri)

A Bronze Age table-style dolmen standing in an open field you can walk right up to. The capstone runs about 710 cm long and 260 cm high. It was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000, together with the Gochang and Hwasun dolmen sites. The Ganghwa History Museum stands next door. There is no gate and no ticket. Getting here means a bus from Seoul or Incheon to Ganghwa Terminal, then a county bus. Budget half a day.
