Jjajangmyeon Museum (former Gonghwachun)
짜장면박물관 (구 공화춘)
Experience · Incheon

The museum is in the former Gonghwachun, a Shandong-style courtyard building from around 1908. It is registered national heritage. The restaurant opened in 1905 and is credited with first putting jjajangmyeon on a menu. Whether it actually invented the dish is not settled. The rooms run from the port-era Chinese community to a recreated 1930s dining hall, then a 1960s kitchen. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-18:00, with last entry at 17:30. Closed Mondays, 1 January and the main holidays. It is about 200 m from Incheon Station Exit 1.
