What KOREATECH is like

Things Korean students all know that are new when you arrive.

1991

Built to train practical engineers

KOREATECH says it was established in 1991 to train practical engineers, HRD specialists and vocational teachers.

실사구시

Seeking truth from facts

The education philosophy is sil-sa-gu-si, "seeking truth from facts". The school says classes are half theory and half practice, and its labs are open 24 hours.

코룡이

Koryongi the dragon

The mascot's name joins KO from KOREATECH and ryong, the word for dragon. Its head is shaped like a K and its wings and body like a T.

심벌

A shield with a circuit pattern

The symbol is a shield with a pattern like a circuit board, drawn from the letters K and T. The school says the orange gradient stands for passion for study and the challenge of its members.
