Biseondae (Cheonbuldong Valley)

From Seoraksan's Sogongwon park, follow the valley past Waseondae to Biseondae, about 3 km on almost level ground. It's around 2 hours there and back, and the climb from Biseondae up to Geumganggul cave is steep iron stairs. When the high trails close for the spring and autumn wildfire season, the path to Biseondae stays open.

- You can't enter the Sogongwon to Biseondae path from sunset until 2 hours before sunrise. For the path from Biseondae to Geumganggul, start by 2 pm. Checked Oct 2026.
