The restored site of the government office that ran Gangneung in the Goryeo and Joseon eras. Its Imyeonggwan Sammun gate is a National Treasure, and it's a good starting point for a walk through the Myeongju-dong alleys next door. About 20 minutes on foot from Gangneung Station.
