Gangneung's old town, where the local government offices stood from the Goryeo to the Joseon era. Old Japanese-era houses and inns turned into cafés line the alleys along with murals, good for a slow walk with a camera. It's a 5 to 10 minute walk from Jungang Market and Wolhwa Street.
