A flat 4.3 km loop around the lake that carries on to Gyeongpo Beach. Not recommended in the midsummer heat.

Gangneung runs the Gyeongpo Cherry Blossom Festival around the lake in early April, April 4 to 11 in 2026, free, based at Gyeongpo Wetland Plaza. The loop is at its most crowded then.
