Deungseon Falls and Samaksan Hike

A trail that climbs through a narrow gorge past a string of waterfalls to Yonghwabong (654 m), the top of Samaksan. Going over the summit from the Uiam ticket office down to Deungseon Falls is about 6 km and takes 3.5 to 4.5 hours, with a steep climb on the Uiam Lake side. For an easier day, go up from Deungseon Falls and back the same way, or ride the Samaksan Lake Cable Car just for the view.
