The birthplace of Yi Sang-ryong, an independence activist who led the Korean Provisional Government. Next door, the seven-storey brick pagoda of the Beopheungsa temple site is known as the largest of its kind in Korea. It's halfway along the riverside walk to Woryeonggyo, and Imcheonggak Station for the Woryeong train is here too.
