The academy founded by the scholar Toegye Yi Hwang, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. It's the scene on the back of the 1,000 won note, with the Sisadan altar visible across the river. It's far north of downtown and Express 3 runs only five times a day, so plan around the timetable.
