Follow the fortress wall and it's hard to get lost. There's a short hands-on rock section near the summit — skip it right after rain or snow, and wear proper shoes. Obey the no-photography signs near the military area. The Tongin Market coin-lunchbox cafe closes Tuesdays and the third Sunday of each month; weekdays 11:00-16:00 (coin sales end 15:00), weekends to 17:00 (coins to 16:00). Gyeongbokgung also closes Tuesdays — avoid this course on a Tuesday.
