A-CHA

Busan in 4 days · Day 1/4: Arrive, then sunset on Hwangnyeongsan

부산 4일 · 1/4일: 도착하고 황령산 해넘이

Day course · 3 stops · Busan

Based on the trip 37 students took with us at Chuseok, moved to KTX times.

[Day 1 starts after check-in] This plan assumes you reach Busan Stn around 12:20 (KTX from Seoul Stn at 10:00) and check in around 15:00. Line 1 from Busan Stn to Seomyeon takes about 13 min. [Stay near Seomyeon] Lines 1 and 2 meet there. On our trip, the groups staying far away barely joined anything. Some self check-in guesthouses only send Korean, so ask for English check-in steps before you book. [Hwangnyeongsan] A-CHA's top pick in Busan, and it's big on Instagram. Several lookouts sit close together at the top, so walk between them. Go up a little before sunset with a snack or a can of beer and treat it as an easy walk. On busy evenings the road up and down jams with buses and taxis, so give yourself time. Walking down takes 30 to 40 min. [Dinner] Dwaeji gukbap, Busan's signature dish, in the gukbap alley by Seomyeon Station. The Pick list mixes places A-CHA ate at and places Busan locals told us about. If someone is vegetarian, pick the place in advance. [Book now] Trains and buses on long weekends sell out fast. Even then, cancelled seats come back often, especially on weekdays, so check the Korail+ app again. KTX times here are from Aug 2026. [Free evening] After dinner the night is yours. If you stay in Seomyeon, it's the easiest place for a first and second round and noraebang, and moving across town late is a hassle, especially if you want a club. The last trains leave Seomyeon around midnight.
